Life is a struggle, accept it !

Well my next phase of life! Varsity life.  I always visualized myself studying and pursuing overseas but then again it’s not that bad studying here in Malaysia itself. 

Being in university now, life sort off changes in a way and it gets down to how you adjust yourself over there. It did take some time for me to get adjusted and know people there better.

I did reflect on my new experiences that i gained there. I've always beared in mind that everybody is finding their way to fit in and they all somehow act cool and confident. You'll definitely be surrounded by people from different background, culture, nationalities but that one thing everyone has in common is that they are surrounded by strangers and do not want to be rejected. Having an anxiety attack and being terribly homesick at this stage is something normal cause that's what i went through. If you do not find your lifetime friends in the first fortnight, you are certainly not alone. Having a few nerves does not mean you are going wrong.

I then somehow felt that i had to maximize my range of friends and tried being all socially friendly with everyone there.I went to things I knew I'd enjoy. Do not feel you have to keep in with the crowd at all costs. If you have longed to explore different interests or change your image, but not had the chance, university is a great opportunity! 

Be organised from the start at all times. University life demands a high level of self-organisation because you have so much of freedom compared to high school. Think about how you divide up your time and get clear how many hours a week of academic work you need to put in. Doing so will help you to make the most of your free time.

Varsity life also opens up to me about how can this outside world be meeting people with really different characters, the surrounding and also makes me learn how to be more independent. You see, we tend to meet people with really different characters especially here at uni

It is weird indeed being your own role model !

I used to watch this show a few years back and got kinda delayed with the series and seasons as i was procrastinating and studying for my finals and busy with other unnecessary stuffs. And when all of a sudden i started watching it back and i just couldn't stop watching. It seemed so addictive to me and now I've been having this sudden obsession towards The Mindy Project and it has been killing me these past few days ! 

Ever since a good friend of mine, Harshini, sent me this app called “showbox” where one can stream movies and TV shows online, I've been so obsessed watching every single episode from every season to keep myself updated.

Hulu is an American online company streaming service which streams a selection of TV shows, clips, movies and other streaming media.Well it is upsetting though that Hulu,Netflix and a bunch of other online streaming sites doesn't stream The Mindy Project over here in my country and only streams in the United States.

Anyway back to the topic, I find Mindy, her sense of dressing and the way she brings up herself in that type of environment, the way she speaks, and her acting skills are too good which makes me feel that she’s someone worth imitating. Basically, Mindy Kaling who’s original name is Vera Mindy Chokalingam, is the creator and star of the Fox and Hulu sitcom The Mindy Project and also serves as executive producer and writer for the show.  I find her kinda different in the sense that she’s like one of the first Indian-American actresses on television. 

My fav character in this series is obviously Mindy, Danny Castellano, Morgan Tookers and Jeremy Reed ! I find them really hilarious and i really do laugh my ass out at times.  

To sum it all up, i love this show ! I love Mindy of course. The writing and casts of this show is beyond par provides and everyone who watches this show a good sense of humor. If you love shows like Happy Endings and New Girl, then this show is definitely for you. I'm not a television expert to criticize how well a character plays their role but every cast here has a plausible story line and with this show's humor, its more than enough for me !

My recommendation : Do watch it ! Stick with it and enjoy it ! Its freaking hilarious . E.O.S
